Should Apple rebuild the AppStore like… a Shushi Bar?
A few days ago, I was eating in a (fake?) Japanese Sushi Bar in Paris with my brother, when I suddenly realized that the Sushi Bar could actually be seen as the AppStore. This is a wierd idea, but the concept is pretty similar after all. Basically, customers choose from the plates (Apps) that pass before them on the conveyor (AppStore). However as you know, the actual Appstore is not really flexible (Tops…) and therefor not efficient for the users as well as the developers. So why not making the new AppStore similar to a Sushi Bar ’constantly moving‘ system for the Apps? Maybe we should think a little more about this idea, or not.
