Apple Europe invited us to its VIP Party yesterday in Paris, to celebrate the iPhone 3GS launch. Here are some photos of this very special event which took place near the Eiffel Tower, in Apple’s new HQ. La classe. Apple announced first Apple Store in Paris in Louvre by the end of the year.

We were on Les Champs Elysées in Paris for the iPhone 3GS midnight launch. As you can see, the waiting line was very long in front of Orange Store. Champagne !

We have just arrived in Los Angeles to cover E3 2009, the biggest video games expo in the world. We hope to see a lot of iPhone games!

Apple has just announced that 1,000,000,000 apps have been downloaded on Itunes App Store in just nine months !

We are currently spending a few days in London for vacation, we decided today to check out the famous Apple Store near Oxford Circus station and it is really impressive! We’ve already visited other Apple Stores (Japan, the US…), but London Apple Store is probably the best one! We are still waiting for Apple Store to open its doors in Paris for the first time (yes there isn’t any Apple Store in Paris yet, could you believe it?), we hope it will be as good as this one.

Also, thelondonpaper, one of the highest circulation regional papers, had an article today featuring our application London Tube, cool!

A few days ago, I was eating in a (fake?) Japanese Sushi Bar in Paris with my brother, when I suddenly realized that the Sushi Bar could actually be seen as the AppStore. This is a wierd idea, but the concept is pretty similar after all. Basically, customers choose from the plates (Apps) that pass before them on the conveyor (AppStore). However as you know, the actual Appstore is not really flexible (Tops…) and therefor not efficient for the users as well as the developers. So why not making the new AppStore similar to a Sushi Bar ’constantly moving‘ system for the Apps? Maybe we should think a little more about this idea, or not.
